Each program hour (50 minutes) has 3 segments. Each segment is compiled of music and information on the artists and featured DJs. The show maintains a continuous mix of music at a steady BPM (beats per minute), to portray the similarities of a party mix.

Each Segment also includes a local break for member stations airing the show to run their local commercial breaks and messages from their sponsors. Party Radio Japan is hosted by Chicago born radio DJ, Dwayne Wayne, and features a guest co-host who announces in Japanese, giving the show a complete bi-lingual format.
